If a student asks about studying abroad, please refer them to the Center for International and Special Programs (CISP). We\u2019ll help them find the right program based on their academic goals and budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you Interested in Developing a Study Abroad Program? Take the Steps Below:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Fill out the Faculty-Led Program Proposal Form<\/a> by July 31, 2026 – This is a yearly CISP requirement in order to gather all program information. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Provide either a signed letter or email of program approval by Dean and Department Head to Angela Bordner (abordner@citadel.edu<\/a>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Plan trip and\/or work with third-party travel company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Create a budget for your program with the help of the Study Abroad Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Create a marketing plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Recruit students (email invites, classroom presentations, Study Abroad Fairs, DOGNEWS, Social Media).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Schedule a Pre-Departure with your participants.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If a student asks you to approve study abroad coursework: Please complete the Advisor Approval Form below <\/strong>and contact our Semester Program Manager, Noah Koubenec at koubenecn1@citadel.edu<\/a>.<\/strong> 
    Once submitted, we\u2019ll guide the student through the next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
