The goal of the South Carolina Read to Succeed Act (R2S) is to ensure that every educator at every grade level in every school and subject area is committed and able to support reading development of the South Carolina students they serve. This legislation requires in-service teachers to take either one (R2S Literacy Requirement) or four (R2S Literacy Teacher Endorsement) additional classes focused on literacy, depending on your area of specialization (see below for specifics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
