K-12 students storm ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ
Storm ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, one of the largest STEM events in the Lowcountry, took place at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ on Feb. 10. Teams of K-12 students competed in science, math, and engineering challenges, including firing hand-made trebuchets, firing water bottle rockets, testing miniature bridges and competing with Lego robots.
Through Storm ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, the college’s STEM Center of Excellence – along with the , the and the – promote STEM education and allow students to use the skills they learn in the classroom in tangible, exciting ways.
